Men's soccer - whether amateur or professional, gets the support of a bastard child, here in the US. Such is hardly the case for women's soccer. Just what was the Brit girls', Jess and Jules, "dream school", in Bend It Like Beckham?

The Answer! Well, I guess nobody saw the film (or, likely, cares much about soccer). It was Santa Clara University, who's women's soccer squad has been a consistant NCAA div. I top 10 for about the past two decades, and took the championship in 2001 - the year before Bend It Like Beckham was released.  ¶ 3:35 AM
